How to schedule a post on LinkedIn (native)
- Click Start a post and write or paste your text (format it first in the formatter).
- Click the clock icon next to the Post button.
- Choose a date and time — up to three months ahead — and click Next, then Schedule.
- To edit or delete, click the clock icon again and choose View all scheduled posts.
On the mobile app the steps are the same: the clock icon sits at the bottom of the composer. Company-page admins can schedule from the page’s admin view.
A simple weekly rhythm
Two to four posts a week, spaced at least a day apart, is sustainable for most people. Mix formats: one story, one practical how-to, one opinion or question. Use the best-time chart for slots and the post ideas when the queue runs dry. Block 30 minutes after each post to reply to comments.

Can you schedule posts on LinkedIn?
Yes. LinkedIn’s own composer can schedule posts up to three months ahead on web and mobile: write the post, click the clock icon next to “Post”, pick a date and time, then “Schedule”. You can view and edit scheduled posts from the same clock icon.
How does this scheduler work without a LinkedIn login?
It plans rather than auto-publishes. Queue your drafts with a time, then add them to your calendar (.ics works with Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar). At the reminder, copy the post and publish or paste it into LinkedIn’s native scheduler. Nothing touches your LinkedIn account.
Where is my queue stored?
Only in this browser’s local storage. It isn’t uploaded anywhere. Clearing your browser data or pressing “Clear queue” deletes it; export to your calendar if you want a backup.
