Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about LinkedInBoost

Is LinkedInBoost really free?

Yes! LinkedInBoost is completely free to use. All features including the post formatter, templates, engagement predictor, and AI enhancer are available without any signup or payment required.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required! LinkedInBoost works entirely in your browser. Your post history is stored locally on your device using IndexedDB, so your data never leaves your computer.

How does the AI enhancer work?

The AI enhancer uses OpenAI's API to improve your posts. When you use AI features, your post content is sent to OpenAI for processing and immediately discarded. We don't store or log any content sent to the AI.

Is my data safe and private?

Absolutely. All your posts and history are stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB. Nothing is sent to our servers except when you explicitly use AI features. You can clear your history anytime.

What is the 3,000 character limit?

LinkedIn allows up to 3,000 characters per post. Our formatter shows a character counter to help you stay within this limit. Posts over 1,300 characters will be truncated with a "See more" link on LinkedIn.

Can I share formatted posts with others?

Yes! Each formatted post has a share button that generates a URL with your post content encoded in it. Anyone with the link can see your formatted post and edit it themselves.

How does the engagement predictor work?

The engagement predictor analyzes your post based on proven LinkedIn best practices: hook strength, content length, formatting, emoji usage, hashtags, and call-to-action. It gives you a score and specific suggestions to improve engagement.

Can I use LinkedInBoost on mobile?

Yes! LinkedInBoost is fully responsive and works great on mobile devices. All features including the formatter, templates, and AI enhancer are optimized for touch screens.

Do the templates really work?

Our templates are based on proven post structures that consistently get high engagement on LinkedIn. They include storytelling, listicles, personal stories, case studies, and more. You can customize them to fit your unique message.

What are the best times to post on LinkedIn?

Generally, Tuesday through Thursday between 8-10 AM or 12-1 PM in your timezone work best. However, test different times to see what works for your specific audience. Check our blog post on best times to post for more details.
